Volunteer Agreement

(For users of the Workshop and volunteers with the Storeroom)

• I will not attend for duty if under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs
• I will not give prescribed or non-prescribed substances to any other volunteer or user of the  service
• I will treat others with respect and am aware that no physical, mental, verbal abuse, blackmailing or bullying will be tolerated
• I must not misuse any equipment belonging to the Real World Trust and ensure that the work area or vehicle is left clean and tidy
• I will not ask any service user for money
• I am responsible for my own safety.  However, it is my duty not to do anything to put anyone else in danger and I should report any hazards to a staff member of the Real World Trust.  In return the Real World Trust will take necessary steps to protect your safety
• If I feel there is anything that I am unable to do because of ill health or physical problems, talk to a staff member of the Real World Trust who is in charge of the project
• If I am asked to accept or handle money, I must inform a Real World Trust staff member who is in charge of the project.  No money can be accepted by a volunteer on the project
• I will not knowingly disrupt the work of other service users
• Any project I am involved with will be carried out co-operatively with other people.  All are to be treated equally.
